General information Duration: not specified (at least 11 months) Commitment: 10-20 hours per week Description: About Founded by Janina Peter and Malish James, Bridging Gaps introduced a pay-it-forward community microloan model to address food security and poverty among refugees. By merging charity and microfinance, we empower entrepreneurs and create sustainable financial structures. Our digital platform secures donations from Europe and the global north, transforming them into microloans that ripple through the community. Unlike traditional repayable microloans, our model is based on a pay-it-forward approach. As businesses thrive, loans are passed on to new entrepreneurs in the same community, creating a sustainable ripple effect of new initiatives and, long-term, new independent financial structures. Donors receive continuous updates on the impactful stories of the entrepreneurs they support through our digital platform, fostering a sense of connection and engagement with the community. This innovative approach not only addresses immediate needs but also promotes lasting, self-sustaining initiatives. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Fundraising Manager. This role provides a unique opportunity to significantly contribute to our mission while developing your professional skills. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to support Bridging Gaps' mission. Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.
