Mission Statement

Stark County Fair Association's mission is to actively engage in the promotion our western heritage by providing a gathering place that unites urban and rural communities in celebration and connection through our fair activities.

Description

Stark County Fair Association, formed in 2001, leases the Stark County Fairgrounds & Events Park which is an 86-acre facility owned by Stark County Park Board and currently managed by Lisa Heiser, County Parks Director. It is located just 2 miles south of Dickinson, ND city limits.

This venue is host to Roughrider Days Fair & Expo, college and professional rodeo sports, educational programs, county 4-H clubs, and envisioned to become host to meetings, weddings, multi-day livestock events, and much more.

The new park opened in 2017 with a single venue structure, an outdoor arena, currently known as the Arnie Binek Memorial Arena. Several structures - including a 4-H Building, indoor event-plex, and Stark County Park Director’s office - is slated to make their debut on the grounds in 2025 or 2026.
