Mission Statement

Sammamish Animal Sanctuary is a 501c3 non-profit that provides forever homes for abused, neglected, unwanted, and/or homeless barnyard animals. We do not breed, sell, nor buy our animals. The quality of life and safety of our animals are our top priorities.

Description

Our organization was founded in 2014 by Diane and Don Gockel. It had always been Diane's dream to rescue neglected and abused animals and she finally got her dream! In 2022, the sanctuary moved to Renton, WA, to accommodate the growing population of our residents. The sanctuary has between 70-80 animals and over 150 volunteers. We would be delighted to have you join our team!
