Description
Tikvah was established in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by concerned parents and mental health professionals committed to improving the quality of life for adult individuals with mental illness. A small part time professional staff partner with lay leadership to accomplish Tikvah’s mission. More than 250 participants took part in Tikvah programs in 2024, a 25% increase from the year prior. Our monthly program offerings occur throughout the five county Philadelphia region. Tikvah programs are diverse in content, focusing on cooking, crafts, day trips, film, meditation, movement, music, neighborhood dinners and wellness lectures. Some activities are city wide and others are neighborhood based.
