To bring joy and excitement to patients at group homes and care facilities. **No special skills needed, just a kind heart ready to learn and help! Some of the Uplifters activities are: Leading Bingo game. Adapting to the crowd needs. Bringing enthusiams and positvity to a group settings, creating and inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact in your community. Requirements: Pass background check. Attend an online and in person volunteer orientation. Provide a valid driver's license and car insurance. Love games and social engagement. Patience, enthusiasm, and cheerful disposition. Flexible time, you can volunteer as much as you desire! Our Social Buterflies Uplifters create moments of happiness that patients and caregivers treasure. This volunteer oportuinity is offered all thru the valley. You don't have to drive far, you can just attend the ones that are closer to you.

Family Support volunteers provide and individual layer of care, love and companionship to patients and their families with no agenda. You will be offering support in various forms, from companionship to caregiver respite, ensuring that each patient and family member feels cared for and valued during challenging times. **No special skills needed, just a kind heart ready to learn and help! Some of the Uplifters activities are: Visiting patients to provide companionship, including activities like watching sports, reading aloud, playing music, or simply engaging in conversaiton. Adapting visits to the care setting and the patient's needs, which may range from active engagement to quiet presence while the patient rests. Offering respit care for caregivers in private family homes for up to 4 hours, allowing them much-needed time to recharge. Running errands or assisting with small tasks to ease the burden on families. You will be able to select patients to visit basedon provided description, including patient age, interests, gender expression, diagnosis, and living situation. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact in your community. Requirements: You have to be18 or older. Pass background check. Attend an online and in person volunteer orientation. Strong interpersonal skills, emphaty and the ability to connect with patients and families in a compassionate and respectful manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospice policies. Dependability and willingness to serve with kindness and patience. Flexibility and sensitivity to adapt to diffent care settings and patient needs. Flexible time, you can volunteer as much as you desire! Your visits may be be filles with shared stories, quiet companionship, or simply being present, creating a profound impact on the quality of life for those in your care. Are you organized, friendly, and eager to make a difference? we are looking for volunteers to help with office tasks, from answering calls to organizing materials. Flexible hours and great way to give back! We have a fun, friendly and supportive work enviroment where your contributions will be valued and appreciated. Our team would love some extra love and help around the office. Providing extra support to the Volunteer coordinator and staff. **No special skills needed, just a kind heart ready to learn and help! The Uplifters activities are: Greeting guests and providing warm and friendly welcome. Assisting with clerical tasks, incluidng copying, filing and basic computer work. Help organize office supplies, light stocking and tidying as needed. Participating in various other tasks based on the office's needs and the volunteer gifted skills. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact in your community. Requirements: Pass background check. Attend an in person volunteer orientation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team enviroment. Basic computer skills. Welcome Uplifters!! At Uplift Hospice, our mission is to support patients and their families with compassion and dignituy troughtout the end of life journey. One meaningful way we do this is through therapic music, wich brings peace, joy and cherished memories to our patients in their final months, weeks, and days. All of our volunteers complete general orientation before serving in the community. With their musical talents they bring comfort by visiting patients in group homes, nursing, facilities, or private residences. These visits not only uplift our hospicer patients but often bring joy to other residents as well. This is a non-clinical volunteer role. Music talented volunteers are not responsible for physical care but instead provide calming, supportive presence during a deeply meaningful time. These volunteer oportunities are all over the valley. You can volunteer to the ones are close to you.

Some of the Uplifters activities are: Organizing and leading fun activities such as crafts and painting. Adapting acitvities to meet the abilities and interests of each participant. Bringing enthusiams and positvity to a group settings, creating and inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere. Play board games. Chair excersies. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact in your community. Requirements: Be at least 18 years old Pass background check. Attend an online and in person volunteer orientation. Provide a valid driver's license, social security card and car insurance. A love for crafts, games and social engagement.
