HelpGuide.org is one of the world’s leading online resources for mental health education and support. Our free psychoeducational materials provide a critical lifeline to anyone who turns to the Internet for help.

We provide meaningful, immediate support to individuals and families-including those who lack access to in-person services-with evidence-based mental health information and wellness tools that are motivating, actionable, and easy-to-understand. Our materials are structured to help people develop the skills they need to improve and maintain mental health and well-being, recognize and support others who may be struggling, and bolster resilience in themselves, their families, and their communities.

As a barrier-free online resource, HelpGuide supports and augments an overstretched mental healthcare system and reaches people who would not otherwise receive help-including those deterred by financial constraints, stigma, privacy concerns, difficulty finding a provider, and long wait times.

HelpGuide has reached more than 750 million people since our start in 1999, and we continue to serve millions each month-most of whom are young and low-income. We’re here for every person who needs us when they need us most-regardless of where they are, what challenges they’re facing, or what they can afford. All they need is an Internet connection.
