The Naugatuck Historical Society is an organization keeping the stories of Naugatuck alive and accessible to the public through exhibits, research, and presentations. We maintain and preserve collections for the purpose of inspiring a love of local history and contributing to civic pride.
Description
The Naugatuck Historical Society is an all-volunteer organization that operates the Naugatuck History Museum at the Tuttle House in Naugatuck, CT. The Naugatuck History Museum is housed in the historic Bronson B. Tuttle House, which is on the National Register of historic places. The Naugatuck Historical Society is a vibrant part of the community providing exhibits and programs that help to develop an understanding of how the stories of Naugatuck inform the present and affect the future.
