I received a phone call from Dave, the CEO, within two days, and from the start, I could tell that he was very friendly!! He continued to keep in touch through email, and I really appreciated how he valued my time and made things easier for me. For instance, he sent me my parking and general admission tickets ahead of the event since I was out of town. On the event day, Dave was exceptionally welcoming—his smile said it all. His enthusiasm for the cause is truly inspiring. He made sure we volunteers took breaks when needed and even brought a cooler of water for us. He was open to any suggestions and frequently expressed his gratitude for our help. The entire experience was incredibly rewarding. I gained valuable insights into the drug overdose epidemic and how we can address it. I loved sharing this knowledge with others and felt like I made a real difference. It was awesome to be approached by fairgoers with personal stories about their friends/family who were saved by Narcan.
