Our Story

Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre was founded as a vision to establish an inclusive dance school and ballet company. Since its inception, AYBT has grown into a beacon of opportunity for aspiring dancers. Our mission is to provide high-quality educational training in all forms of dance, making dreams accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.

• Successful Alumni: Many of our students have gone on to prestigious dance schools and professional companies.
• Community Impact: Accessibility to the arts is enhanced through grants that enable underserved community members to attend our two major ballet productions. Title One schools in the Huntsville area are invited to our spring shows as part of AYBT’s Outreach Program. Additionally, everyone is welcome to attend our free mini-performances at local libraries and various venues.
