Description
Smart Kids Literacy Foundation was founded to tackle the urgent issue of poor literacy skills in underserved communities. Since we started in 2022, our mission has been to improve educational outcomes, train teachers and support families in need.
Our flagship project, The Kids Resource Centre Project, gives children free access to a wide variety of books and educational materials in a conducive environment, helping them develop a love for reading, learning and to excel academically. We also run the Read Across Slum Initiative, in slum communities in Nigeria and Punjab, India. Amongst other exciting projects, we offer teacher summit, parenting workshops and family counseling to help parents create nurturing home environments for their children. We've already made a significant impact, touching the lives of over 3,000 children through our literacy projects. Our work is supported by a passionate network of volunteers and professionals from around the world.
By joining us, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, enhancing literacy, and creating brighter futures for children and families.
