Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide exceptional care with empathy for our patients and their families so they may live with comfort, dignity and respect.
Description
The most important time is the time we have together - with family and friends. Many people think hospice is only about end-of-life care, but it’s so much more than that. In thousands of communities across the country, we help people with a life-limiting illness - and their loved ones - make the most of the time they have in the comfort and privacy of wherever they call home.
Our teams of physicians, nurses, social workers, volunteers, hospice aides and chaplains attend to people’s emotional, spiritual, and physical needs during this challenging time. Our services include pain and sympton management, emotional support, spiritual care, respite care and bereavement support.
Be the change you want to see in the world. Become a volunteer.
As a hospice volunteer, you become a valuable part of our care team and play a vital role in impriving the quality of life for those in our care. There are so many ways to help; everything from spending time with a patient, running an errand or doing light housework to even providing invaluable administrative support.
