We are unique the only local hospital-hospitality agency which provides lodging for all patient-families regardless of patient age/illness. Whereas the Ronald McDonald Houses only serve pediatric patients, the Hope Family Lodge just adult cancer patients and the Gift of Life Transplant just adult transplant patients, we lodge patients being treated at all Greater Philadelphia medical facilities. We also fills gaps in the lodging coverage which exist in the other hospitality programs:

1) we don’t require patients to have a minimum number of weekly medical appointments, 2) we can lodge large families (having lodged families of as large as 10 persons), 3) we can and have lodged families for more than one year, and 4) we allow families to make advance reservations, relieving them of much stress, (e.g., The Ronald McDonald houses often informs families if they have lodging only the day before the anticipated arrival).

Hosting simply provide guests a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and feeling of home, experiencing tremendous reward doing so. They lodge who guests who, when and for how long they want, with Hosts/guests interacting as they mutually wish to do so.
