Volunteer Opportunity: Neutral Faith-Based Advisor (One-Time Session) Wind Haven Foundation | Confidential Governance Support Overview: Wind Haven Foundation is a trauma-informed, faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence, coercive control, and relational trauma. We are currently seeking a neutral, spiritually grounded third-party advisor to assist with a one-time pastoral accountability and discernment session related to a confidential internal leadership matter. This opportunity is ideal for a wise, compassionate leader with experience in pastoral care, ethics, or advocacy-and no prior ties to Wind Haven or its leadership. Responsibilities: Participate as a neutral witness and external advisor during a one-time internal leadership review. Offer insight on spiritual, ethical, and redemptive leadership practices. Support a process grounded in accountability, healing, and biblical integrity. Attend a recorded Google Meet session for internal documentation and transparency. Qualifications: Clergy, minister, or faith-based professional with experience in pastoral counseling, spiritual care, or ethics. Knowledge of financial principles and business contracts is required (formal legal training not necessary). Experience in redemptive leadership, biblical accountability, and grace-based guidance. Trauma-informed perspective and/or nonprofit governance experience is a plus. Fully neutral: No prior personal or professional relationships with Wind Haven’s staff or board. Able to sign a confidentiality agreement and approach the process prayerfully and professionally. Comfortable using Google Meet or similar video conferencing tools. Time Commitment: One-time engagement (approximately 1-2 hours total). Why This Matters: At Wind Haven, we believe in Christ-centered leadership rooted in humility, transparency, and restoration. This session represents a critical step toward strengthening accountability, trust, and spiritual alignment within our leadership team. To Apply: Please submit a brief bio, your ministry or faith-based background, and a short statement about why you feel led to serve in this role. Apply via [VolunteerMatch]. Please Note: This is not a legal matter, and we are not seeking legal advice or representation. This opportunity is for spiritual discernment and nonprofit accountability support only. While legal or nonprofit leadership experience is helpful, attorneys may only serve in a non-legal, advisory capacity. We are specifically seeking a neutral, trauma-informed, faith-based advisor to support a one-time internal board matter in accordance with our bylaws.
