Mission Statement
The Inner Explorer Institute wants to make mindfulness programming a nationwide policy for schools. Through research and public awareness, mindfulness programs can have transformative power of altering behavior to foster happiness and potential.
Description
As we look at our world, mental health in youth is skyrocketing along with absenteeism, substance abuse and violence. Mindfulness is a solution that can help kids and young adults to center themselves and allows them to identify who they are and how they relate with others in the world. The more mindfulness is done, the more effective it can be. We need support at the policy level from schools and government funding to make it effective.
