Our mission is to help low-income families and families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.
Description
Family Promise of Waukesha County serves families with minor children who are currently experiencing or are at risk of experiencing homelessness. We do this through three core programs. Our Homelessness Prevention Program provides assistance in the form of rent, utility, car repair or security deposit to help a family stay in their home. Our Apartment Shelter Program houses families for up to 90 days who are actively experiencing homelessness. Our Diversion Program assists families in seeking other housing options, ultimately diverting them from shelter.
