Mission Statement

The Pipsqueakery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit small animal rescue & sanctuary in Bloomington Indiana. We provide care for medically and behaviorally needy rodents, rabbits and other animals, educate the public on their care, and find forever homes and rescue placement for healthy adoptable animals.

Description

The Pipsqueakery started as a hamster rescue and has expanded to caring for basically everything but cats and dogs - with rescued rodents still at the center. We’ve rescued pigeons, goats, ground squirrels, capybaras, turkeys, groundhogs, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rats, pategonian maras, and more! Alongside adopting out animals into loving homes, we provide a sanctuary for medically or behaviorally intensive rescues.
