Volunteer Curriculum and Program Development Specialist Reporting to the President, the Curriculum and Program Development Specialist will be responsible for developing courses for the university's undergraduate and graduate programs. Developments will include course descriptions, course learning outcomes, weekly lesson plans, quizzes, mid-terms/finals, and syllabi. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Work closely with the President to design and develop a curriculum that provides students with a Christian-focused learning experience. Assist in developing the undergraduate and graduate programs that support the Founder's vision of making disciples of all nations. Engage in research to ensure the the curriculum and programs are aligned with industry standards. Recommend teaching methodologies and education technologies Meet curriculum design and program development deadlines. Attend virtual meetings as necessary. Be an integral team player, which involves flexibility, cooperation, and communication. Potential instructional opportunities in area(s) of expertise in the online learning environment. EXPERIENCE Creating course learning outcomes based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. Creating assignments that assess student performance. Experience in curriculum, instructional, and program design. Experience teaching at the university level online in a discipline offered by Kenner University. Required subject matter expertise. Experience working with learning management systems (e.g. Canvas). Excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage deadlines. MINIMUM EDUCATIOANL REQUIREMENTS Master's degree from a regionally or internationally accredited institution in a closely related discipline offered by Kenner University. The Master's degree must be in or hold at least 18 credit hours in subjects within the undergraduate and graduate programs. Doctoral degree preferred. At present, Kenner University offers two Associates Programs, four Bachelor's programs (BSBA), and an MBA with plans to expand the MBA program offerings.
