CIRCLE OF CHANGE

Description

Circle of Change Dog Programs offer Veterans, First Responders and Youth suffering with a mental health diagnosis or a trauma history, a path toward wellness through dog training & handling classes. Participants train either their own dog, puppy, or dog that requires some obedience rehab. Dog ownership or experience is not a requirement to participate. Class-time is an opportunity for rebuilding community, increasing self-confidence, enjoying healthy peer interactions and rediscovering a path towards healing. Puppy or dog participants attract a lot of attention in our programs, however, we are a human-focused program. Battling the negative effects of mental illness and rediscovering a positive outlook, post-trauma, is the ultimate goal of all 3 programs.
