Take Stock in Children of Manatee County is committed to supporting underserved and economically disadvantaged students by offering scholarships and mentorship. Our mission is to empower students in grades 6 through 12 to achieve academic and personal success through our College and Career Readiness program. We prepare them for post-secondary education and foster excellence in all aspects of their personal and professional lives, ultimately enhancing the communities they live in and serve throughout Manatee County.

The Take Stock in Children Provides Mentorship, Scholarships and Hope.
Take Stock in Children, Manatee program is a college readiness initiative for Manatee county students in grades 6-12. This program is designed to provide comprehensive support, mentorship, and resources to guide students through their educational journey. Focused on fostering college readiness, the program equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in higher education. Take Stock in Children - Manatee ensures that students are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of pursuing higher education. The program establishes a supportive community to help students thrive academically and build a strong foundation for their future.
Mentoring is a vital component of Take Stock in Children Manatee, pairing students with mentors who offer guidance, support, and encouragement throughout their 6-12 grade educational journey.
