Mission Statement

MOVE Mountain View Providing a pathway to housing through Safe Parking and Intensive Case Management in Mountain View and Palo Alto, CA to combat homelessness, Move Mountain View provide more than a place to park. It’s also a safe, supportive setting in which to work on personalized permanent housing plans. Safe Parking is a valuable and vital part of the path to renewed, secure living in the midst of community.

Description

Move Mountain View began in 2018 as the creation of concerned community members responding to the increasing challenge of
housing insecurity in Mountain View particularly and Silicon Valley in general. In 2021, we opened our 9th Safe Parking Lot
and now care for an average of 195 persons per night.
MOVE Mountain View partners with City and County governments, local congregations, foundations, and individual donors. Our goal
is to provide a pathway to housing through Safe Parking and Intensive Case Management. With your help and a growing network of partners, we are reaching our goals.
