Our mission is to provide funding and support to make music therapy services accessible to all individuals, ensuring that the healing power of music is available to all who need it. We are committed to advancing the field of music therapy through research and innovation, seeking out grants and collaborations that enable us to explore new frontiers in therapeutic music practices, particularly for the underserved in our community.
Description
Musical Bridges was founded in June 2005 with the vision of providing quality Music Therapy services to individuals with disabilities in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area. After 18 years in private practice, we formed a nonprofit in order to make Music Therapy accessible for all. While we’ve grown over the years, our mission to respect and serve our community and clientele has remained unwavering. Our nonprofit has two primary goals: to fund scholarships for individual music therapy and provide low and no cost group programming.
