Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Volunteer Website Manager to help us enhance and maintain our website. This role is crucial in ensuring our online presence effectively communicates our mission and programs to the community and potential supporters. Key Responsibilities Website Enhancement: Revamp the current website structure to improve navigation and user experience. Content Management: Update existing pages and add new sections highlighting our programs, partnerships, and success stories. Technical Maintenance: Ensure website functionality, perform regular updates, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. SEO Optimization: Implement best practices to improve search engine rankings and increase visibility. Analytics Monitoring: Track website performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations. Collaboration: Work closely with the WETACOM team to align website content with organizational goals and campaigns. Qualifications Proven experience in website management, preferably for nonprofits or community organizations. Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress). Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Familiarity with Tanzanian communities and cultural contexts is advantageous.

About WETACOM: Wezesha Tanzania Community Organization (WETACOM) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities socially and economically, with a focus on gender perspectives. In the 2024/2025 period, WETACOM has undertaken several impactful projects aimed at addressing social challenges and promoting sustainable development in Tanzania. Current Projects Include: Street Families Outreach - Mwanza Town (August 2024): Supporting and rehabilitating street families by providing essential services and reintegration programs. Women’s Leadership & Civic Education Program: Empowering women through leadership training and civic education to enhance their participation in governance and community development. Education and Youth Vocational Training: Collaborating with institutions like Bright Smart Star Vocational Training Center and Ruzinga Driving School to provide practical courses, and sponsoring students across various educational levels. Role Overview: The Volunteer Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in creating visual content that communicates WETACOM's mission and programs effectively. This includes designing materials for social media, and fundraising campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Design engaging graphics for social media platforms, and other promotional materials. Collaborate with the communications team to develop visual content that aligns with WETACOM's branding and messaging. Develop infographics and visual aids to support educational and training materials. Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and materials. Qualifications: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva. Experience in creating graphics for social media and print materials.
