Our Mission: Rising Stars Business Academy is designed to motivate, educate and train opportunity individuals to become leaders and positive members of the community. Our Core 6 Values: Respect, Integrity, Family, Diversity, Equity and Love. Our Vision: To create a future where our members build positive generational legacies, not only for themselves, but also for their families and communities.

Description

We are Rising Stars Business Academy, a non-profit organization, in partnership with YouthBuild Charter School of California, offering a FREE high school diploma and job training program for young people ages 16-24. We have classroom- based and independent study options. We offer a "second chance" to those who dropped out, aged out, or were pushed out of traditional schools. We offer paid job training, mentoring, tutoring, life skills, leadership development, counseling entrepreneurship, music & recording arts, construction and culinary training, gang intervention, substance abuse classes, crisis intervention, and Street outreach.
Since opening up in 2010, RSBA has served over 1,000 youth, and graduated over 600 with their Accredited High School Diplomas. RSBA graduates have gone onto college, military, the work force and even started their own businesses, providing services to the community in which they live in.
