Mission Statement

ENPSIRE INC. strives to empower previously incarcerated women, men, and disadvantaged troubled youth through inspirational music, life skills, housing, and other counseling services to improve emotional and mental sustainability and mindful living. ENSPIRE INC. also strives to empower young women by helping them deal with and overcome gender bias issues in this male-dominated society. ​

Description

Enspire Inc. organizes a workshop called Young Women's Empowerment Symposium (YWES) for teenage girls who are in the process of discovering themselves. This event aims to provide a platform for open communication, a safe space, and understanding of what it takes to achieve their goals. The workshop assists young girls in finding a balance between their various priorities while growing into successful women. YWES is held in different communities throughout Oakland and has helped numerous young women fulfill their aspirations. Enspire Inc. believes that YWES will continue to empower young girls to understand self-love, promote education, and create a safe community where they can talk about anything.
