Mission Statement
The Livermore Art Association (LAA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1957 to promote public interest and appreciation in the fine arts and the fine crafts, as well as to encourage the artistic progress and the development of its members. Membership is open to anyone interested in the fields of arts and crafts.
Description
We are a community of artists, 100% volunteer run. Founded in 1957 by local artists, non-profit since 1972. Our passion is to show and grow our members and share our art with the community at large. We offer a wide range of opportunities and programming including an artist co-op gallery, and annually run 6 shows, host an art market, have booths/sites at local art events allowing members to participate, facilitate member solo-shows on the local community center gallery wall, and whatever else we have the time and people to put on.
