She Is Kingdom She Is M.I.S.S. is seeking passionate, Christ-centered women of color with a proven commitment to philanthropy to join our governing board. We're building spaces that empower Christian women and adolescent girls of color to break barriers and thrive as social impact leaders and philanthropists, challenging stereotypes of poverty and lack. If you're driven to elevate women and girls in Chicago as Motivational, Inspirational, Successful, and Spirit-Led (M.I.S.S.) Kingdom Leaders, we invite you to join our mission! Mission: To build a vibrant community where Christian women and girls of color thrive as servant-leaders, humanitarians, and philanthropists, making a significant impact on the world through their faith. Vision: Christian Women and girls of Color impacting the world as Motivational, Inspirational, Successful, and Spirit-led (M.I.S.S) Kingdom Leaders Description: She Is Kingdom She Is M.I.S.S. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Christian women of color as servant-leaders, humanitarians, and philanthropists. We strive to esteem this dynamic community by recognizing their unique strengths and celebrating their identities as Motivational, Inspirational, Successful, and Spirit-Led (M.I.S.S) Kingdom Leaders and World Changers. Rooted in our faith, our core activities focus on volunteerism, community impact, and philanthropy. Through these efforts, our members have the opportunity to create meaningful change and make a lasting impact on their communities. We recognize that systemic inequities, including those based on race and religion, continue to marginalize women of color. Furthermore, charitable spaces often lack inclusivity for openly Christian women, limiting opportunities for faith-based giving and outreach. She Is Kingdom She Is M.I.S.S. provides a unique and supportive community for Christian women of color. Here, members can: Connect with like-minded women: Build a strong network of support and fellowship. Engage in meaningful service: Participate in community outreach initiatives and make a tangible difference. Express their faith: Integrate their faith into their service and philanthropy. Empower themselves: Develop leadership skills and become agents of positive change. We believe that by empowering Christian women of color, we can contribute to a more just and equitable world, bringing hope and light to individuals and communities impacted by poverty, racial inequities, homelessness, violence, and food insecurity.
