Collins Home Family Ministries exists to embody the love of Christ by providing compassion to families and children who are experiencing hardship. We provide shelter to children, strength to families and stability to our community.
Description
Collins Children's Home was established in 1980. We care for children when their families are going through a season of difficulty - without court involvement and regardless of their ability to pay. This allows families to retain custody and stay in contact with their children, with the expectation that the family will be reunited when the difficulty is resolved. This pre-DSS intervention means the parent or guardian continues to be the primary decision-maker.
