We envision a world where all AAPIs are empowered to express themselves in pursuit of their wildest dreams. Our mission is to nurture self discovery and unlock creative expansion for AAPIs.

Description

Slant'd is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, independent publishing house. We are a fully volunteer-run creative collective of AAPI dreamers and doers passionate about cultivating spaces for our community’s stories to shine. We envision a world where all AAPIs are empowered to express themselves in pursuit of their wildest dreams and our mission is to nurture self discovery and unlock creative expansion for AAPIs.

Since our founding in 2017, we’ve empowered 150+ AAPI writers and artists to find their voice and a greater sense of belonging with the greater AAPI community. We expanded our impact beyond the page, bringing the power of inclusive storytelling directly to the masses through public events and workplace programs at companies across the United States.
