At New Jersey SOS Veteran Stakeholder Group, we mainly provide extensive services under the below categories:

• Quarterly County Networking Meetings
• Policy Advocacy
• UnMet Needs Funding for veterans experiencing hardships
• Assistance with Housing Search
• Educational Events such as Suicide Awareness
• Home Loans Seminars, Appreciation Luncheons

• NJ SOS Stakeholders, along with other partners, advocated for the VA Woman’s Appreciation Day legislation on June 12, 2019.
• NJ SOS Stakeholders advocated for the New Jersey Healthcare System Sussex Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Newton, NJ.
• Established the NJ SOS Stakeholders Unmet Needs Fund to address veteran hardships not covered by existing community programs. To date, the Unmet needs fund has raised over $100K and have assisted over 100 families in the Northern New Jersey area.
• In order to bring together the several organizations in the community that work on addressing the many challenges faced by veterans, quarterly meetings have been organized in 11 counties.
