Mission Statement

OUR PURPOSE The purpose of the International Dance Commission ("The Commission") is to serve as a multicultural umbrella organization and resource pool for dance, worship arts ministries and dance companies throughout the world! It is also our goal to serve as lobbyists in various states on particular issues that directly affect the funding of faith-based programs, particularly those that target the arts. OUR MISSION Our mission is to be a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic resource to dance ministries and performing companies in the United States and abroad. We seek to impact communities, churches,states, nations, and legislation through our unified efforts. We will also support our partners through education, workshops, choreography assistance, and event promotions.


International Dance Commission Events 2024

The International Dance Commission (IDC) hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including volunteer opportunities, training programs, galas, conferences, mission trips, and more. Here’s a breakdown of their current and upcoming events:


Volunteer Dance With a Cause (Ongoing): Help out at the Mercedes Benz Stadium while supporting a good cause. Tasks include concessions, event setup, guest reception, and more. Dates: Every weekend

IDC Atlanta Black Tie Gala (July 27, 2024) Atlanta City Hall
Celebrate achievements, network with leaders, and witness student graduations from the Boss-Sis program. Details: Boss-Sis Program Equips young Black women (aged 16-21) to become future leaders. Develop essential skills, gain tech expertise, and learn the ropes of entrepreneurship.

Washington DC Events (September 10th-15th):

Celebrate Liturgical Dance Day on Capitol Hill, engage with government officials, and witness a powerful Worship Service. Details including press conference, congressional briefing.

South Africa Missiions trip (December 5-15): Brief overview, including partnership details, goals, and sponsorship opportunities
