Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower underprivileged high school graduates in Ethiopia through the provision of essential college funds and educational resources, enabling them to pursue and successfully complete their college education, thereby creating a significant and lasting impact on their lives.
Description
In 2021, YETS Family Foundations started by sponsoring 15 underprivileged high school students in Ethiopia to pursue and complete their college education. Today these ambitious students graduated from a two year Vocational & Technical College that focus on career training, such as Garment Sewing, Cooking, and more.
Some of our graduates had an opportunity to participate in a group competition between other aspiring entrepreneurs, and won first place receiving cash award enough to start their own thriving business. We're grateful to our supporters who help making such a big impact with our small beginning.
In 2023, a second batch of 20 underprivileged high school graduates are getting supported by YETS Family Foundation. Our goal in 2025 is to support100 more underprivileged high school students to pursue and successfully complete their college education.
