Mission Statement
To preserve and honor the historic place of horses in the history of California and to continue to support horsemanship and horse activities by holding events and maintaining a facility for all equestrians to use.
Description
TriCities Horsemen's (Contra Costa Equestrian Foundation) is an organization made up of people who own or have an interest in horses. We are based in Martinez in Contra Costa County CA and we are a family based club with an active junior organization. We lease and manage the Equestrian Arena at the beautiful Radke/Waterfront Park from East Bay Regional Parks. Our activities include gymkhanas (barrell racing and pole bending), Equine Trail Sports Obstacle Challenge competitions, English/Western Shows and playdays. The public is welcome to attend any of these without charge. We also participate in the annual Martinez July 4th Parade.
