Mission Statement
To raise money for the benefit of Woonsocket High School Alumni and/or their immediate families who have been diagnosed with a serious medical condition or suffered a catastrophic life event and have demonstrated a need for financial assistance.
Description
Hearts with Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping Woonsocket High Alumni in times of need. While our mission is committed to helping Woonsocket High School alumni or their immediate family members, anyone can join us in the spirit of compassion and goodwill.
Founded in February of 2012, Hearts with Hope (HwH) was the result of classmates from the WHS Class of 1988, coming together and organizing fundraising efforts for fellow classmates diagnosed with cancer.
Through their efforts to raise money to help pay for medical expenses, they were over-whelmed with the support they received from the community, both Novans and non-Novans alike.
Soon after, organizers were made aware that there were other Novans in need and it was decided to formally organize and attempt to help as many graduates of Woonsocket High School as possible.
