Mission Statement

We celebrate, spotlight, and bolster Black podcasts for more wins and successes. We achieve this through our annual awards program and ceremony, as well as publishing two newsletters: BPAwardsWatch and New #Podcast Releases (formerly One Black Podcast a Day). Our work ensures more Black podcasts receive award nominations, wins, physical awards, hall of fame inductions, and publicity for their outstanding work.

Twitterstorm background, hugely volunteer fueled to date, now early stage non profit so we can work year-round for even more impact for Black podcasters.

Share our 2024 goals....

We produce an annual awards program and virtual ceremony, and publish two newsletters, BPAwardsWatch and New #Podcast Releases (formerly One Black Podcast a Day). EXPLAIN THEM. We would love to offer more impactful programs as we have the resources to do so.

To date, we've given out 94 wins and 286 nominations. Our winners include....

By April 3, 2024, New Podcast Releases will have amplified 400 new Black podcasts to hundreds of readers, hugely by way of our collaborator BlkPodNews(tm).
