Description
Kikwetu Foundation is a registered non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making organization which is dedicated to helping and addressing a variety of issues, with a particular focus on Kenyan society although has interests in the entire African continent. The organization was established in 2012 in Kenya by a group of passionate youth who were determined to advocate for the promotion of African culture as a way of creating wealth for the youth and other disenfranchised members of society.
The main purpose and function of this organization is to mobilize, organize and redirect the energy of the youth towards maximum participation in relation to the major important matters of economic growth, development and innovation. Kikwetu Foundation is, in essence, an initiative which celebrates and promotes African culture by developing the skills of people within the community.
Kikwetu Foundation is in youth empowerment and community development through exciting mediums such as the arts, culture, music and fashion. With a keen focus on youth and community development, we are passionate about changing the world around us by tapping into and promoting the talents of African youth.
