Description
Welcome potential volunteers!
Feed The Poor Foundation was established in Texas in 2019 with a bold vision: to fight poverty and hunger both physically and spiritually. Our mission is to empower communities and create a world where no one has to suffer from hunger or lack access to education.
Since our inception, we have achieved several milestones and launched various programs, including:
* Festive Outreach: Spreading joy and providing essential items to those in need during special occasions.
* Water 4 Life: Providing clean water and sanitation solutions to communities worldwide.
* Care 4 Kids: Supporting the education, health, and well-being of children.
In September 2021, we proclaimed World Feed The Poor Day, which is now celebrated annually on August 2nd. This global event brings people together to raise awareness and take action against poverty and hunger.
In 2023, we launched Pencil Cancels Poverty, a program aimed at supporting children's education and providing necessary resources.
We are proud to announce that the Mayor of Houston has proclaimed August 2, 2023 as Feed The Poor Day, recognizing our efforts and commitment to making a positive impact.
By joining us as a volunteer, you will become part of a dedicated team working towards a common goal. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you for considering volunteering with Feed The Poor Foundation!
