Mission Statement

Our mission is to bridge the gap in awareness surrounding uterine fibroids; celebrate women with Uterine fibroids; support women who have undergone medical procedures related to Uterine fibroids; and provide financial, emotional and psychological assistance for the pre- and post-care needed by women dealing with Uterine fibroid.

Description

For years, I grappled with the relentless challenges posed by uterine fibroids-a battle marked by discomfort, pain, and the hindrance of simple daily tasks. Throughout this journey, I encountered a striking absence of organizations extending help, information, or support regarding fibroids in the San Antonio area. Compounded by reproductive concerns, even fertility specialists dismissed the notion that these fibroids could be the underlying cause. My struggle encompassed heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and excruciating cramps. In response to this critical void, the Frank Ellis Ekpen Brown Organization (FEEB) was born in 2002.

Our Goals Are:

  1. Raising Awareness and Educating
  2. Providing Support
  3. Advocacy
  4. Diminishing Stigma:
  5. Empowerment
  6. Equipping with Resources
