Description
The California Karen Youth Connection (CKYC) was started in August of 2014, organized by a collective group of Karen communities in a few Californian cities: Sacramento, Oakland, Bakersfield, San Diego, Manteca, and Los Angeles. In 2022, CKYC obtained a 501(c)3 tax exempt and non-profit organization. The hope and mission of this organization are to lead the youth to unite and work together as a group and family, and to create future leaders of the youth for the community.
