Mission Statement

Mama Support Community Organisation is a non-governmental organizationI which is based in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania at a place called Mbagala Majimatitu.we had a passion to provide community charity and improve peoples’ This is a project that exists to ensure how we can help these children so that they have the education that will help them later on in their lives. Indeed, we have a sincere desire to help orphans and children living in difficult environments. What can we do to help these children, so we need volunteers to come and do this work. I hope if you are touched like us by this, please join us in helping these children who are facing many challenges. when they are in school because of the lack of important things that make them miss going to school, come, you and I, let's go together to hold their hands and encourage them so that they can fulfill their dreams

Description

This community has the aim of supporting disadvantaged people in difficult life situations with different backgrounds. We are supporting all kind of people, all genders and all ages. Our slogan "helping in order to help yourself", for example by offering various trainings like "handcraft-workshops" to provide people in need new skills, in order to get rid of the poverty and getting empowered to start a small business, to achieve independence. We are fighting against medical issues, poverty, dependency, unemployment and hunger. We are fighting for the basic needs, education and in general a better, peaceful and light-hearted tomorrow! One of our value is: Together we are stronger, together we reach further, together we are one! We are supporting each other, learning and exchanging skills, working hand in hand. As a community we have more power and are able to realize big dreams! Teaching various skills, being broad, being open minded gives us the basic to get more creativity, assertiveness, innovation and strengh.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND CONNECTIONS.(YEC). Activities -Entrepreneurship training and workshop for host communities and different schools. -Mind games and sports for pre-primary, primary and secondary schools -Drawing skills training for Nursery & primary schools children. -Communications skills and social media management training to the host communities and schools . -Environmental conservation activities including littler pick, cleanliness, tree planting activities and etc -Computer skills training and etc EXTRA ACTIVITIES FOR VENTURERS . -Camping skills and experience - Guiding experience -Trekking -cultural exchanges experience, Wearing style, local life style, cultural dancing, sustainable development issues and etc -Cooking session -Teaching skills -Town/ tour activities.
