Mission Statement
Our mission Promoting diversity, equity, and positive change in the New Orleans Black LGBTQ+ community. At New Orleans Black Pride, our mission is to celebrate and uplift the rich diversity and accomplishments of the Black LGBTQ+ community in New Orleans. We aim to promote equitable initiatives for all community members by fostering a supportive and empowering environment. Through organizing cultural events, educational workshops on LGBTQ+ rights, and advocacy efforts, we strive to create positive change, foster understanding, and celebrate the unique experiences and contributions of Black LGBTQ+ individuals. Together, we envision a future of inclusivity, acceptance, and empowerment for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or background. We prioritize services for needy members and uplift community members and social enterprises that give back to the Black LGBTQ+ Community.
