Storm Surge is a nonprofit in Newburyport MA with a mission to empower Greater Newburyport communities with knowledge needed to actively mitigate and adapt to our rapidly changing shorelines, coastal and marsh environments, and local weather patterns.

Description

An all-volunteer organization, we promote science-based outreach and education through a Speaker Series, original content educational videos, community exhibits, and collaborative projects. We seek new board members who enjoy hands-on engagement with skills and expertise in event planning and management, marketing, governance and strategic planning, or community exhibits.
