Mission Statement

The mission of Heartland Hospice is to provide quality hospice care to clients with limited life expectancy, as well as, support to the caregivers. The quality of life for those we serve is enhanced through palliative and specialized supportive care designed to meet the physical and psychosocial, social, and spiritual needs of clients and caregivers. hospice care is provided by an interdisciplinary team utilizing an approach to the care delivered to clients either in their own home or extended care facility; working cooperatively with area health care providers and other community resources. Heartland Hospice strives to provide care to all who are eligible and need hospice care irrespective of ability to pay.

Description

Heartland provides Doctors, RNs, LPNs, aides, Spiritual care, Social work, PT, Ot, Volunteers to have a comprehensive care for the patient and their caregivers. We are the only hospice in the area that allows patients to continue treatment for cancer, have dialysis, get PT and OT , etc for their strength, and comfort.
