The Grandmother Collective is raising the profile of grandmothers as unique and essential contributors to social change. We work to equip grandmothers and older women so they can leverage their wisdom, experience, insights, and contributions to make impact around the world.
Description
The wisdom and experience of grandmothers is a powerful force for change around the world. GMC pursues a world where grandmothers are recognized and supported as key collaborators for social change. This is amplified through:
Advocacy & Movement Building : Raising awareness of the impact of grandmothers and building connections between multiple stakeholders for collective impact
Community & Connectivity : Fostering communities of practice between organizations focused on grandmother-centered programming
Research & Training : Demonstrating impact and building tools to support capacity strengthening for organizations
