Description
Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) provides residential services, day services and employment support services for clients with development disabilities. DDA residential services support clients who live in their own homes, in community settings, or in habilitation centers. DDA determines whether a person meets the state definition of developmental disabilities, performs service assessments, authorizes in-home or residential supports, develops resources, and monitors providers. DDA supports 25,000 clients with some paid services, operating 27 local offices, four state operated residential habilitation centers and four state-operated supported living alternative programs.
