The Friends of Castaic Lake (FOCL) is a dynamic and compassionate community of volunteers, steadfastly committed to making a positive impact on the Castaic Lake Recreation Area. Since our establishment as a nonprofit organization in 1983, our unwavering mission is to tirelessly support and enhance the operations of the County of Los Angeles' largest regional park.
At FOCL, we take pride in our dedication to the community, actively engaging in fundraisers and special events to contribute essential funds for park programs and projects. Our collective efforts serve as a catalyst for the continuous improvement and sustainable development of the Castaic Lake Recreation Area.
FOCL has emerged as a pivotal force, providing vital funding and volunteer support for a diverse range of special events. From the heartwarming Bark in the Park to the joyful Fishing and Fun Day for Kids, the spine-tingling Halloween Haunt Spooktacular, the enchanting Winter Magic - Lighted Boat Parade, and the empowering C.A.S.T. - Casting a Special Thrill event for disabled children, FOCL stands as a beacon of community engagement and support.
