Mission Statement
ARE champions fairness, challenges race inequality and pioneers innovative solutions to empower young people through education, employment and enterprise.
Description
Routes2Success is managed by ARE, and ai ms to support young people from Black, Asian and other ethnic minority backgrounds with career advice, entrepreneurial skills, and guidance on how to make positive choices and overcome obstacles. Our volunteer force of male and female ethnic minority role model and mentors deliver motivational sessions to our beneficiaries, aged 10-24 years old, who are disengaged, or at risk of exclusion or entering the criminal justice system.
Ideally, we aim to hold two to three events/workshops with a group of 10-15 young people with the potential of further mentoring support . Along with raising aspirations, self-esteem, and motivation, we equip our beneficiaries with tools to manage their social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
