Mission Statement

Food Justice Coalition is a volunteer-operated collective passionate about combating food insecurity. We create organic, nutritionally-dense, plant-based meals to support the unsheltered community and those facing food insecurity. Combating food waste is our specialty, we take in food surplus from local restaurants and farms to create our meals, thus helping to cut down on food waste. We believe every individual should have access to fresh, wholesome foods and that food insecurity is not a failure of the individual, but a failure of the government to its people.

Description

Food Justice Coalition is a non-profit that supports folks experiencing food insecurity. With volunteer help, we are able to create nutrient-dense, delicious, and accessible meals.
