Mission Statement
We emphasize in our mission the expansion of healing outside the realm of traditional medical or mental health care. Much of our work serves to rectify and bridge the previously overlooked connection between the physical and mental health of patients. While both are, indeed, crucial to the success of an individual and their family, we believe that this support must take into consideration a personalized, holistic, and collaborative approach to ensure that clients have the tools and resources to succeed beyond our care.
Description
Since 1984, the Violence Intervention Program (VIP) has been a national leader in building transformative programs that raise the standard of care for all survivors of power-based violence in the Los Angeles area. With over 30 years of proven successes, our hallmark approach to care emphasizes the expansion of healing outside the realm of traditional medical or mental health care. More specifically, we believe in taking into consideration a personalized, holistic, and collaborative approach to ensure that clients have the tools and resources to succeed beyond our care.
