Mission Statement
Washburn University's mission is to enrich the lives of students by providing opportunities to help them developed intellectually, academically and professionally. The Mulvane Art Musuem supports this mission by encouraging students and the community to think independently and critically about art as a way to empower them as a vehicle for communicating human values.
Description
The Mulvane Art Musuem is an accredited museum that is affiliated and sits on the Washburn University campus. It operates as an independent museum and as an academic institution. We organize an annual community art fair along with yearly programming for K-12 populations and the community as a whole.
