Help To Home provides a temporary supportive housing program that requires life skills development as a condition of continued housing for families with minor children experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.
Description
Help to Home began over 10 years. The board then began acquiring inexpensive housing units for homeless families with minor children, or those in danger of becoming homeless. Our success in operating four housing units in the last few years has led us to acquire a large parcel of land for more homes. The board purchased 4.85 acres for the Hope Village Program early in 2022. Hope Village will be built in phases, with the first phase of 14 dwelling units immediately south of 30th Avenue West.
